Some online fans may have speculated that Chris Meloni will play the part of Lex Luthor in Zack Snyder’s Superman, but it seems like the speculation is totally wrong.

Vulture caught up with Chris Meloni a few days ago at the Public Theater Gala, the “Law and Order: SVU” star revealed that he indeed landed a part in Zack Snyder’s Superman reboot. However, he will not be playing the villain Lex Luthor, instead he will be playing a general in this DC Comics movie.

Joe Wright Talks about the Bullshit Female Empowerment of Sucker Punch

Joe Wright, the director of “Hanna,” mocked Zack Snyder’s “Sucker Punch” at Wonder-Con. “I think that’s bullshit,” he said.

“Sucker Punch” is Zack Snyder’s recently released movie which has been judged to be unerringly bad and boring. It features five young females that try to escape from a mental asylum by going through a fantastical world from their imagination. Although it claims to be an action movie with ‘female empowerment,’ Joe Wright asserted that it is just a depiction of young women and sex.

Will Zack Snyder Be Removed from Superman Reboot Due To Sucker Punch’s Weakness?

After a poor opening weekend for “Sucker Punch”, will Zack Snyder be dumped from the “Superman” hot-seat? The critics have already tagged this movie as a dud.

Rumor has it that some hollywood insiders are starting to wonder if the studio and corporate parent will still allow Zack Snyder to direct the reboot “Superman: Man of Steel.” Snyder could be replaced before the filming begins.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Viggo Mortensen is “a person of interest” to portray General Zod, the Superman villain from DC Comics. Despite Zack Snyder’s insistence that there is no such villain named Zod in the upcoming Superman movie.
