The latest photos from “Smallville” shows Clark Kent (Tom Welling) in his Superman costume. We get the sneak peek before the end of the series. The photos are from the second-to-the last episode called ‘Smallville: Prophecy’.
Hold on! Is that the Superman suit from “Superman Returns”? I wonder if the WB is just teasing us with this costume before showing the real costume from the “Smallville: Finale.”
Boo-Hoo! The CW’s TV Series “Smallville” will be closing up shop after 10 years on the air with a two-hour series’ final episode called “Finale.”
Yipee! Michael Rosenbaum has agreed to return to reprise his role as Lex Luthor, the fans’ favorite villain. We’ve missed you, Michael!
Michael Rosenbaum, discussed his return to the series in an interview with TVLine. “I have to say, that was the most amazing time, going back. There were people who worked on that crew that aren’t even working on the show anymore that came to see me. It was like a family I hadn’t seen in a while,” he said.
During a break on the set where ‘Smallville’ is filmed in British Columbia, Tom Welling spoke to TV Guide Magazine about these past 10 years of his life as the man they call Clark Kent.
As the series winds down to it’s finale next month, Tom reiterated that the show has been about his character, Clark Kent, more than the Man of Steel. “And it was very important at the end that we make sure that we wrap up the Clark Kent story.” Tom added, “…as much as it’s the end of ‘Smallville,’ it’s the birth of this next phase in this character’s life.”
For every fan of “Smallville” from around the world, be ready to watch episode 17 titled, ‘Kent’ of this final season. But you all will have to wait patiently because this episode will not air until next month on Friday, April 15, 2011, at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time on The CW Television Network.
As we have known Michael Rosenbaum had confirmed to have quit his role as Lex Luthor in Smallville after finishing season 7. Now you can see him back to portray one of DC Comics’ iconic character – Lex Luthor. His IMDb page shows Michael appearing in Smallville episode 20, but I think he will be in the finally(episode 21) as well. The series finally will be two hours and will air on May 13, 2011! The news that Michael Rosenbaum would be returning was officially announced on Feb 11, 2011.
