Anne Hathaway Responds to Catwoman Costume Criticism

Anne Hathaway

Anne Hathaway

We recently showed you the very first official pictures of Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle AKA Catwoman for Christopher Nolan’s Batman: The Dark Knight Rises, which is currently filming in Pittsburgh. However, as predicted, the  responses from fans are mostly negative as the consequence of the lackluster visualization of the Catwoman costume compared to the original one in DC Comics. Some of the more iconic elements are missing like the cat-eared cowl and the stylized goggles. Read the rest of this entry »

“The Dark Knight Rises”: First Photos of Anne Hathaway in Catwoman Costume!

Anne Hathaway as Catwoman

Anne Hathaway as Catwoman - The Dark Knight Rises

Since the filming of Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises has caused quite a stir over in Pittsburgh, we have seen a lot of set pics of both Christian Bale as Batman and Tom Hardy as the vicious character, Bane. But many of us are asking, where is Selina Kyle as Catwoman? We want to see Anne Hathaway masked and in black. It is odd that we have not seen a glimpse of this character, until now.

Warner Bros. finally released the first official peek at Anne Hathaway as “Catwoman” in a skintight leather costume, riding a massive motorcycle that looks a lot like the Bat-pod. I really wonder where this girl got that cool ride! Did her thievery side get a grip on her inspiring her to pick up this toy from Bruce Wayne’s cave? I don’t know.

The Dark Knight Rises: Tom Hardy Updates Inhumanly Villain Bane

Tom Hardy - Bane - The Dark Knight Rises

Tom Hardy - Bane - The Dark Knight Rises

British “Inception” actor Tom Hardy isn’t always willing to talk about his new role in Warner Bros. “Batman: The Dark Knight Rises.” His role as Bane, the almost inhumanly fierce and massive villain, is also known as “the man who broke the Bat.”

Finally a few days ago, Tom Hardy opened up in an interview with Total Film to discuss DC Comics adaptation and his character Bane. “I think Bane’s f—ing cool so I’m really excited to play him.” For filming, Hardy wears a very realistic fearsome mask which according to Hardy, “It allows a performance to be free.” It doesn’t get more real than that!

NEW Set Photos of “Batman: The Dark Knight Rises”

We would have waited decades for Warner Bros. to issued some photos of “Batman: The Dark Knight Rises”, but lucky for us that we have EyePrime. In this new set, we get a first look at Christian Bale (or probably his stunt double?) in Batman costume and Tom Hardy as the vicious Bane in his freaking cool mask. I personally love both of their suits since they resemble the original costumes in DC Comics.

“Batman: The Dark Knight Rises”: First Teaser Poster! BONUS Teaser Trailer (link)

The Dark Knight Rises Teaser Poster

The Dark Knight Rises Teaser Poster

Warner Bros. Entertainment has released the first teaser poster for Christopher Nolan’s Batman: The Dark Knight Rises which shows “nothing”.  I am a bit disappointed since I wish they had added more flavor into the first poster (a glimpse of other characters, for instance!) instead of a set of some broken down buildings. Can you recall the iconic teaser poster for the “Dark Knight” of the joker behind a fogged glass drawing a smile with the caption “Why so serious?”. Now that was a teaser poster! On the other hand, if it is a follow-up to what they are calling a viral marketing campaign, it has successfully made the round in the blogosphere and pumped up curiosity for the end of this Batman trilogy.

Batman: The Dark Knight Rises Gets a New Lamborghini

Lamborghini Aventador

Lamborghini Aventador

Despite the fact that he’s the superhero, Batman, Bruce Wayne is always wallowing in wealth. We probably have the right to call him a Billion Dollar man. In the last Batman: The Dark Knight, this guy rode a thoroughly delectable Lamborghini Murciélago LP640 while saving someone’s life. However, in the next Batman flick, Batman: The Dark Knight Rises, our dream guy will have a new cool ride, a Lamborghini Aventador. It seems Bruce Wayne has a special connection with the famous Italian brand.
